We contacted the Tibetan Government in exile to ask H.H. the Dalai Lama to make a statement. We just got the statement, and I've translated into Chinese. We are organizing donations from Tibetans, Chinese and all sympathizers.

我對在這場襲擊中國四川省的災難性地震中那些受傷的人們和逝去的眾多生命感到深深的悲慟。我希望對2008年5月12日中被這場強烈地震所影響的家庭表達我內心深深的同情和真誠的哀悼。我對在這場地震中那些逝去的生命和受傷的人們祈禱。
